Information about the horses.

All of our horses (about 80) are of the breed P.R.E. (Pura Raza Española) or 'Spanish horse', which is one of the oldest horse breeds existing in the world today.

The 'Spanish horse' is strongly built, yet extremely elegant. The mane is thick and abundant. They have large and kind eyes. But it's on the temperament side that you notice the difference to other breeds.

They are very proud but docile, sensitive and particularly intelligent. This makes every 'Spanish horse' a real character and a good friend.

Our stallions are trained in 'Doma Clasica' on a daily basis by our private dressage trainer. 'Doma Clasica' is the Spanish term for classic dressage. El Robledal has already participated in several competitions in 'Morfología' [horse morphology] since 1998 with very good results. In 2000 our stallion 'Manijero' won the Andalucian Championship.
