The magic is in the grapes
These are the grapes we are using to make our red wine:
'Cabernet Sauvignon':
A deep coloured, thick skinned grape that produces a dark fully bodied wine. Flavours: black currant, cedar, cigar boxes, lead pencils, green pepper, mint, dark chocolate, tobacco, olives. |
'Muscat'(Moscatel Manilva):
A very sweet grape, in both taste and smell from the village Manilva which lies just beside Cortijo El Robledal and Casares. Flavours: grapes, oranges, roses, bergamot, raisins, barley sugar, demerara sugar.
'Tempranillo':
A variation of the famous cabernet sauvignon that has been developed here in Spain, probably because the different soil and climate. Flavours: strawberry, spices, soft buttery toffe.
'Tinta del País':
Is another variation of almost the same grapes as Tempranillo but a little more powerful with a lot of interesting flavours.
